Description
Built in 1913, The Gaslight Inn is Atlanta’s finest bed and breakfast inn. The original granite step at curbside, used by passengers to disembark from horse-drawn carriages, is the first clue this is truly a unique and historic inn. Flickering gas lanterns outside, original gas lighting inside, and several working fireplaces continue the Inn’s history and tradition.
Located in the chic Virginia-Highland neighborhood, The Gaslight Inn is convenient to the downtown business/convention district. Within blocks you will discover some of the finest restaurants, shops, theatres, and art galleries in Atlanta. The Carter Presidential Library, King Center, Piedmont Park, Fernbank Natural History Museum, Emory University, Tumer Field, Philips Arena and the Buckhead shopping district are just minutes away.
The craftsman style home has been featured on CNN, the Discovery Channel, the Travel Channel, CBS and was a question on the popular game show Jeopardy. Numerous publications attest to its world-class quality, including the London Observer, Vacations, and Better Homes and Gardens magazines.
