Avon House was built in 1877 by the Salisbury family who were involved in local politics and owned the Doty Salisbury furniture store. It is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown and the University of Michigan-Flint. We are one block from Flint's Cultural Center, which includes Alfred P. Sloan Museum, Flint Institute of Arts and Music, Flint Public Library, Whiting Auditorium, Bower Theater, Sarvis Conference Center and Longway Planetarium. Crossroads Village, Frankenmuth and the Prime Outlets of Birch Run are within short driving distances.
Avon House has three guest rooms decorated in Victorian antiques. Each room has a double bed and it's own air conditioner. There is a sitting area with television and VCR available on the second floor. Two bathrooms are shared and if you are our only guest we can provide a private bath. We offer off-street parking.
